NYUMUN aims to promote a greater understanding of contemporary social, economic and political issues. By allowing students to engage in professional debate, diplomacy and teamwork, we hope to better acquaint college students with the functions of national governments and the United Nations.
Travel Team
Travel Team is the competitive branch of NYUMUN, sending delegations to conferences across the North American collegiate MUN circuit. As a top-ranked team, Travel Team allows for a selective few members of the club to compete at the highest levels of debate against other universities from the United States and beyond, representing NYU at the highest levels. Focusing mainly on fast-paced crisis committees, the team is an excellent opportunity for members to improve their public speaking and problem-solving skills in a competitive environment.
